STAFF APPRECIATION at McFadden
At McFadden, we believe in building a strong school community, and that includes recognizing the incredible staff who support our students every day. The Staff Appreciation Committee helps lead that effort with themed lunches, treats, and thoughtful tokens of thanks throughout the year.
What we do
Monthly Staff Lunches
Each grade level helps host one staff appreciation meal during the school year. The committee handles the planning with generous support from families who donate food, time, or supplies.
When it’s your grade’s turn, you’ll receive a SignUp Genius link with donation opportunities and event details.
Links are also shared in Dr. Blair’s weekly email and posted in the PTO Facebook group.
Teacher Appreciation Week
Our biggest celebration of the year takes place the first full week of May, filled with surprises, food, and fun for the entire staff.
How to Get Involved
Bring a treat!
You’re always welcome to drop off a small treat at the front desk.

Surprise a specific staff member (just include their name), or

Send something for the whole staff — these go in the staff workroom.
